About Ana Remok

Born in 1980 in Mexico City, Ana Remok discovered her passion for art at a young age. Embarking on a creative journey, she earned a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and pursued an expertise degree in Visual Arts.

Her artistic exploration took a transformative turn when she lived in Manhattan and later in Madrid. In these vibrant locales, Ana delved into modern art, experimenting with abstract techniques and learning from accomplished masters and designers. She expanded her repertoire at the Emily Carr Institute in Vancouver, Canada, where she embraced additional visual art techniques. Despite her success in the marketing and advertising industry — working first as an art director and later as a creative director — Ana remained dedicated to her artistic pursuits.

In 2016, she relocated to Austin, Texas, and in 2018 she founded her own studio. Ana's inspiration draws from abstract expressionism and modern art, seamlessly blending her creations with aesthetics and interior design for an immersive everyday experience.

Through her art, Ana aims to portray the female perspective, reflecting on women's roles in society and the challenges they face, from the joys of motherhood to the depths of grief. Her works also explore themes of relationships, marriage, and spirituality, emphasizing the interconnectedness of emotion and thought. With a keen interest in promoting mindfulness and mental health awareness, Ana's art serves as a visual narrative offering insights into the intricate fabric of contemporary society.
