Ximena García Chávez, born on January 9, 1962, in Mexico City, is a versatile artist with a rich background in the arts. Her journey into the world of creativity commenced with a dedicated pursuit of Art History at the prestigious École du Louvre, where she delved into the intricacies of artistic evolution and cultural narratives.
She further honed her artistic skills by studying Visual Arts at the National School of Fine Arts (UNAM) and delving into the world of crafts at the renowned School of Artisanry within the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA). This interdisciplinary education provided her with a comprehensive toolkit, allowing her to seamlessly navigate diverse artistic expressions and mediums.
Ximena's artistic vision finds expression in a series of individual exhibitions at venues such as the Lourdes Chumacero Gallery, the Jesús Reyes Heroles Cultural Center, the Biblioteca de México, and the Chopo Museum.
