Alejandro Barush

Born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, in 1967, Alejandro Barush started his studies at 17 at the Cabañas Institute of Plastic Arts. His sculpting work follows figurative art tendencies.

As a student of the New Humanism, his work reflects the search for personal transformation toward a humanized society — a proposal responding to the social and historic moment we all live in, one of growing de-construction in relationships and among people.
